I am researching this family. The five-year-old  'George Gord' is actually George Middleton Todd (my great-great grandfather. 'Janet Poat' is actually Janet Peat his mother. I would love to hear from any of you researching this family. I have quite a lot of information about George after he moved to England (where he married and had a large family). Please get in touch.
