This is all very interesting what you've managed to get together, the only thing i'm unsure about is the Thomas Pratt born in 1898. I'm not sure where he fits in really, but hopefully i can find out some more info on him. I'll make him my next priority.

Thanks

Good Evening,

Thanks very much to you all, i had a feeling she had the surname Smith as i'd found a few records that matched but the surname is so common it makes it pretty hard to trace back. I'll have a look into this as new paths have been opened.

Many Thanks

Bedfordshire / George Pratt - Louise ? Marriage records

Good evening all!

I was wondering if anyone could help me with my Great Great Grandmothers Maiden surname, for a few years now I've been trying to find any records for what her family name was before she got married.

She married a George Pratt 01/01/1867 Leighton Buzzard - 1963 Leighton Buzzard in 1891
Her name was Louise ? 05/11/1866 Leighton Buzzard - 13/03/1948 Biggleswade

Many Thanks,

TJames

Hello Ian,

Thanks for the full translation, now I have some new names that I'm sure will fit on the family tree somewhere although I'm not to sure were! I am doing this research for a man called Urho Vienonen who i posted on sometime back, his father is unknown so I assume there is a possibility that Juha is his grandfather or a great-uncle as the village is pretty small so i can't imagine there are many other fitting names of people. So, the search goes on!

Many Thanks

Thanks very much for that Ian! It's a bit strange that there are three people on the document, maybe one of them is a witness or Juha's "äiti" (mother or maybe the next of kin). I shall look into it more! and hopefully i will find some answers!

Many Thanks

Good Evening!

I have recently been on a database trying to find any records on the Vienonen family of Ypäjä, Finland and came across a document that seems to have the name on the second line with his first name being "Juka" from the looks of it. Does anyone have an idea on what it might say? or could i just be over looking into it? My Finnish isn't the best so any pointers will be appreciated!

Many Thanks
