Thank you all very much for your replies. I do know three of the relatives who also have the same people on their trees such as a 1st Cousin & have messaged them about this & we are all baffled by it. I had hoped to break down the brick wall to find my Great Grandfather's family, but no match at all there either

I have several DNA matches on Ancestry.com such as 621cM, 265cM, 255cM to name but a few, who I know are descendants from my 2nd Great Grandparents. Yet when I click on the ThruLines 3 of those are showing 0 DNA matches & that I am the currently the only DNA tested descendant connected to this ThruLine. How can this be?

If you go on the Find a Grave website for Machpelah Cemetery you will see that Huw Waters has documented this cemetery & taken some photos of the headstones. There is a facility to private message Huw, perhaps he would be able to help you.

Thank you all very much for passing on your information. I contacted FindMyPast & mentioned they had offered other subscribers 40% off & that I felt the 15% & then 25% off they had offered was unfair as I had been with FindMyPast for over 10 years. I got an email straight back offering 40% off & would I like to upgrade to Premium, so at that price I did

Thanks for your replies Gadget & Phil it appears they are offering all sorts of prices to different people. Two other people I know who have subscribed recently had different quotes to the ones mentioned here. Think I will give them a call & see what they offer.

I have had a bit of a shock at this years subscription price for Find My Past, the Pro package has gone up to £184.99. They are offering a 15% reduction for auto renew, but that still seems a lot more than I have paid before. Has anyone else renewed recently ?
