Hi Annie, Dawn and all, sorry I am really not the best on computers lol.. But I will endeavour to update my profile with the relevant info..

I am just in the process of subscribing to find my past, and ancestory uk.. Will try navigate my way around them later today..

I have spoken to my family members in the NE, but they are elderly now sadly.. I was told some family come from east riding of Yorkshire and others from killcady (sp) in Ireland. I'm originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, but now live in Nottingham uk

Long story..

My father john Bradley died in approx 1970 when I was just 5 yrs old, throughout my life I was told little about him and what I was told were lies ( don't know why). I was told he was an only child from ashby and had no relatives, however this has been disproven and I have found a living sibling of his in Newcastle upon Tyne.

So now I'm trying to find my past blind so to speak.. This is what I know so far

John Bradley, born 1921 mothers maiden name Seed, birth registered in Chester le Street.

Dad was the oldest of three brothers *

Grandfather had a sister Emily who married my Grandmothers brother.
my Grandfather John William Bradley, was born in 1899 at Lanchester, County Durham, which is just up the road from Chester le Street.

My Grandmother Margaret Ellen Bradley (nee Seed) born 1902, has her birth registered in Chester le Street.

This is all I can find out, can somebody point me in the right direction please, many thanks in advance
