Lincolnshire / 8A Burton Road Lincoln? Part of the Workhouse in 1922?

I have a death certificate with the above address given as place of death. Would it be part of the workhouse where elderly people who were suffering from senile dementia could be placed if they were close to death. Senile dementia is the cause of death on the certificate.
Many Thanks

Sorry, can't read my own scrappy writing.  12a Newbold Road was the address of the workhouse/Scarsdale Hospital.  I'm glad you found who you were looking for.  Could the address be 7 Walton Crescent BOYTHORPE?  This is in Chesterfield. There is a Bagthorpe but it's near Ripley on the Derbys/Notts border. As far as I know there is no Walton Crescent there.
I am local to the area.

Was the address on the death certificate 9a Newbold Road?  If it is it's the old Workhouse, later Scarsdale Hospital.  The nearest churches to there are Holy Trinity and Christchurch. Hope this helps.

Yorkshire (West Riding) / Re: William Upson (born c 1909)

Thanks for all your help.  I had looked through the baptisms at Harthill and Ann Widdision born Woodall was one of the names I had found.  Ann Upson gives her place of birth as Woodhall on the 1851, 1861 and 1881 censuses (all I have found so far)
William may well be the child of the 27th September 1809 marriage.  The problem is he is baptised the same day, son of Ann Booker!  So I think you can say strong possibility that James Upson is his father, but no more than that.
Thanks again

This man marries at Sheffield Cathedral in 1833.  Can anyone tell me the details on his marriage certificate?  He may link into a long (and complicated) family tree.
Many thanks

I did find one of my (really common name) ancestors by searching for her in the following census by using both surnames.  Sure enough one matched where she was born and her age. I had found the 'possibly married one of the following people' and even though wives were named Mary the other combination missed by the proverbial country mile.
