The correct spelling of my great grandmother's maiden name is TUOHY.
She is buried in Nanango, QLD. (Have photograph of headstone)
Her husband Thomas Clement RICE is buried in Mount Morgan cemetery. (Have photograph of headstone.)
Thomas was the nightwatchman at the Mount Morgan Gold Mining Company at the time of his suicide 24 June 1890, aged 48.

Bridget Agnes was the housekeeper/cook at the Singlemens' quarters at the mine.
She was assisted by her eldest daughter Mary aged 20 at the time of her father's death.
Mary married (9/2/1893) Charles Petrie (b. Kangaroo Flat, Sandhurst, Victoria, Dec 1855.
