Armed Forces / Re: List of all Battle of Waterloo men - free lookup offer

Hi, are you still active - with the free lookup.  If not then I could probably help some of the people requesting information on service at Waterloo.

Hi, I was wondering if there are any members of the Denby family from the Snaith area of Yorkshire listed, just out of curiosity.

Absolutely no rush.

Kindest Regards

I have only just seen this post regarding your wonderful Grandfather and am deeply shocked and saddened, he was one of the most helpful and knowledgeable people on the forum and will be greatly missed by many, many people.

My deepest condolences to you and the rest of your family at this very sad time.

Rest in peace Max.

I clapped for Sir Tom tonight, a few others on doorsteps and some car horn honking.

I was also clapping for my dear mom who died of Covid last week (she also acquired it in a hospital)  :'( :'( :'(

I am so sorry to read that Jool, my thoughts are with you and your family ..........

World War One / Re: Arthur Nind

Hi Frank, I am the great nephew of Arthur Nind. He was born in Sunninghill in 1895. My family would be very interested to know more information about his military record. My Dad has more info about his history if you are interested? Hope to hear back from you soon.

Hi HappyDays101, Sorry for the delay in posting a reply, I don't have a lot of information on him to be honest, only what the good people on here provided me with, that. and a little family history.
I came across his name while looking for a research project, it's something I like to spend time doing.

I am happy to share anything I have with you  :)

Hope to hear from you soon.
