Hello,
I too are trying to trace a passenger, Lance Corporal David Fleming, who supposedly sailed on the 'Bahia Castillo' which departed England December 4, 1920 and arrived into Sydney in February 1921.

David, born 1892 in Edinburg, migrated from Scotland to Australia in 1911 with his brothers and parents; in 1916 David enlisted in the A.I.F. and served overseas. Apparently when on leave in the U.K. he married.

According to a letter David's mother wrote to the A.I.F. in 1924, she said he was living in Scotland.

Would appreciate any assistance.

Many thanks to all for merging messages, appreciated.

Hello Tracey and welcome to RootsChat

We have connected on Ancestry and have sent you a PM via this site and a link to the family tree.

Please be careful of what information you have sourced from other sites/family trees - a lot of info is just 'hear-say' and hasn't been verified.

Look forward to working with you and are happy to share information that I have.

Regards Bonnie

Hi SamanthaJaneX and welcome to RootsChat.

Sorry, don't remember any of the staff who worked at the Club ... it was so long ago since hubby and I used to pop in for an after work drink, usually on a Friday night ...

Good luck with your search.

Unfortunately I still have not been able to find a record of a marriage between Moses NUTT and Annie PARKINSON. I also checked again to see if she may have been a widow when she married Moses but alas no luck.

I descend from Moses' sister Martha bc 1824 died 1896. She married John COOK in 1845 and her daughter Martha 1857-1955 was my great grandmother.

Sorry my delay in replying.

Hi Karma2

Welcome to RootsChat and thanks for making contact.

Like yourself, I haven't worked on the Nutt family tree for sometime so need to do a refresh on what the latest developments were.

I am located in Sydney and there is a massive electrical storm brewing so not keen to be on the computer ... will be back in touch soon.

Regards Bonnie
