Hi all, I'm looking at the will of John Palmer of Charlton, Wantage, Berkshire, dated 1564 which I think was given probate in 1574. The will itself is in English and I can (slowly) decipher it, but the section at the end is in Latin I think. I've attached this section and wondered whether anyone might be able to tell me what it says.

If it helps, John Palmer married Jone and had at least the following children in Wantage parish:
1. Johone 1546
2. John 1548
3. Sybill 1551-1561
4. Bridget 1553
5&6. Margery & Jone 1556

Many thanks if anyone can assist.

Kent / Re: Parents of Isaac Belsey Reynolds baptised 1795

Hi djscott, thanks so much for your message. Yes I would indeed be interested to hear details about Samuel Bawtree Reynolds - I think we worked out where his middle name came from but I don't know much about his later life. The people who've replied here have done some great research about the origins of the family and particular branches etc. Some of it is recorded in my main Ancestry tree if you'd like to take a look. I'll send you a personal message with my email address :)

Here's a wider shot of the cemetery.

Hi Bruce, I went out today and got some shots of the cemetery at Argent's Hill - the graves you were looking for were there. If you send me your email address via personal message (don't post it here) I can send you some high resolution images. Attached are two small photos of the two headstones - Sarah's is broken.

Just a thought too, you could try emailing Nambucca Valley Council and asking if they have any information on your two names in that cemetery. I believe they have maps of plots and maybe they have other information. Their contact email address is on their website (scroll to the bottom): https://nambucca.nsw.gov.au/cp_themes/default/home.asp

Hi Bruce, no worries, I'll try to get out there this weekend if it's not bucketing down. I've wandered through that cemetery before and I remember that there were a number of Ballard graves. I've been meaning to photograph the whole cemetery as it's quite small so this will spur me to do it!

Thanks Neale, you're absolutely right, I hadn't considered those name variants and that is quite interesting that one. I'll have another look!

Thanks Rosinish and Neale1961. Yes I think the Morton connection could well come in on the Kirkwood side of the Walker/Kirkwood marriage, but I can't find the relevant link. No I can't really find any likely ways the Morton family could link in with the Walker side. But I can't trace David Walker or Mary Kirkwood's birth/baptism with any degree of certainty.
