I have got the information about the 1851 census from his father John Hayhurst notes on the family tree stating that he lived with Robert in 1851, i have not seen the actual census.
Robert Hayhurst aged 55yrs will check that one.

i am trying to find a death for Robert Hayhurst born 4 may 1807 Bashall Eaves or Mitton his parents John Hayhurst and Jane Brogden.
He was alive in 1851 because i have found him in the 1851 census but cannot find anything else for him. I do not know if he married.
I have put this on North Yorkshire board because at the time he was living these places were in that county, they are now part of Lancashire.

Stephen Robinson my 4 times G Grandfather was born in Settle  Yorkshire around 1806, he married someone called Elizabeth also born in Settle.
As i no longer subscribe to Find my Past or Ancestry are their any other sites i might find Parish records, to see if i can find their marriage, and find Elizabeths surname.
I think they would have married in Settle sometime before 1829 when my 3 times G Grandmother was born in Settle.

I am going back to an old subject of my Lovett relations, but as you found the answer to my brick wall about the marriage of George Lovett and the french connection, i was wonder if anyone can find a  birth date for my 2x ggrandfather Thomas born in Calais in about 1826, thought when i found his death in Colne Lancashire it might have given me his date of birth, but it doesn't.

I have just received a message back from the person who put the tree on Family search to  thank me for pointing out the wrong parents for his Elsie Slade, and he will correct the information in is tree to correct parentage.
