Hi Suz,

Quite true ... but I'm not convinced I have the right family here and just wondered if anyone could help at all before I 'shell out' on a cert' that's no use to me.

Kind regards

Oops ... Just realised that John and Pamela MIGHT still be 'living' ... please reply via private message or email if this is the case.

Many many thanks.

Shropshire Completed Look up Requests / Marriage of Milward & Milward 1968?

Hi All

Scratching my head over a marriage from 1968 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

John A V Milward married a Pamela W R MILWARD ???

Now I know it's possible that two 'different' Milward families 'came together' but can any kind soul please confirm that Pamela's maiden name was indeed 'Milward' ... or not?

... and, if so, then what were Pamela's parents names and where did they come from?

Many thanks, as always, in advance of anyones kind help on the matter.

Kind Regards
Nimchimpsky

Hmmmm ... Considering that Sarah (wife) died pre 1841 census, did John (husband) re-marry (possibly to an Elizabeth)?
The children of the marriage of Sarah & John seem to appear at a later date as children of Elizabeth & John ... or maybe that's just a co-incidence, there does seem to be an 'army' of Griffiths's in Ranorshire at that time.
