Mr Green

Not certain if there is a connection, as the "Cousin" side of the family came from a 1850's link & stopped with children born 1878.

Hope to check registers within next couple of weeks, and will post update.

Hi Fiona,

Thanks. Some interesting info.  Don't know how I missed it.

Had some details on James and Sarah Long, son John (27) and also Thomas (25).  Didn't about the others, or Irish Church.

Also had info on the Elizabeth, John & Andrew Lindsay.

I'll need to go back and have another look.  If I find any Barrs, I'll let you know.

Thanks again

I'm looking for any details on a spirit merchant's, owned by William Robert Ferris, between 1901 & 1911 in the York Street / York Road areas of Belfast?

Any information even on where to look would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,  Can anyone please provide any details concerning Lindsay's or Middleton's, in the 1901 Census, living in the Whitehouse, Whitewell or Greencastle areas?

I have an address of Bell's Row, but I'm not certain which area it was in?

Thanks

Moderator's Note: since 1901 census is now online and poster hasn't been online since 2006 this topic now moved to COMPLETED board

Antrim / Please Advise - Belfast Photo Studio's
« on: Thursday 15 September 05 22:45 BST (UK)  »
I have received within the last couple of weeks, five photo Albums, dating back to mid-late 1800S, but no names on any of the people in the pictures.

All of the studios have Belfast addresses, but unfortunately none are still around to-day.

Can anyone please advise if there is anywhere were I can get any information on "old" studios?  Is it likely that records may be held somewhere?  Public records office?

Thanks

 :) Karen,

Do you know if William Bell was Church of Ireland?  In St. Aidens Parish Church graveyard, there are a lot of graves for the "Bell" family.  I have just started searching Bell, as my GGGrandfather George Ferris married a Sarah Bell, Jan 1856, daughter of Jonathan Bell.  Don't have all the connections yet, but might be a connection.

If the bride lied about her date of birth, on the marriage licence, Is it still "legal"?
