Sorry to have come in so late on this topic. I am the historian for 241st Brigade RFA and have a website dedicated to the men and the brigade. Please feel free to visit
http://www.denniscorbett.com/241.html.
There is a photograph of Gunner Harwood's grave on page

He was indeed the son of George and Harriet of Fishponds. Interestingly, he was not originally a member of 241st bde as is testified by his service number. Our service numbers ran from 830001 to 835000. He will almost certainly have received (more or less serious) wounds which made a recuperation necessary away from his unit. On recovery he was posted to C/241 with whom he was serving when he died.
I maintain a database plus an archive concerning the brigade, but do not hold artifacts. If you cannot find family, but would like the death plaque to go to a good home, can I suggest that donation to the present Territorial Army Royal Artillery Battery in Worcester might be an acceptable idea? C/241 was originally the Redditch Battery, but the headquarters were in Worcester as they still are today. I can put you in touch if you wish.
