Thank you. ;) I never could get to grips with the Julian calendar. I thought it might be 1752 but it always helps to get another opinion.  This couple must have got married the same day as the bond was signed, which makes a lot more sense.

Can anyone help me decipher the year of this marriage bond document? As far as I can tell, this couple got married exactly a year later which is a bit odd.  Many thanks

above bounden William Parker …………?so said himself?  ..…his surrogates and all other his officers whatsoever by reason? of the ……?…. Then this obligation to  be void or else to remain in full force and virtue

I'm struggling with to decipher  some of the above bond and hoping for some help to fill in the gaps.
This is what I have so far.
