London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / Henry Sutherland & Eliza Barker, marriage Deptford
« on: Saturday 02 January 16 15:18 GMT (UK)  »
Henry was born in Norwich and so was Eliza, trying to find their marriage and think I found right one, in Deptford 1862, rather than Norwich. Would it be possible for someone to tell me if I am in right place for a look up for Deptford as it says Deptford Kent, so confused. Would love to know Eliza's parentage as I have only a year for her 1837 and Norwich with no parents attached.

Thank you in anticipation.

Devon / Beatrice E C N and Eileen C N Wallbank

Hi
I am trying to see if I can find out what happened to Beatrice and Eileen Wallbank. They were twins and their birth was registered in Dec 1920 in St Thomas Devon. Their parents were George Ernest Wallbank and Beatrice Kerslake. Unfortunately Beatrice died at the age of 38 after giving birth to the girls. and her death is registered in Dec 1920.

I know George remarries again the following year to Mabel Toms then emigrates to quebec Canada in june 1921. He is in Oshawa, in November 1921.

What I would like to know is what happened with Beatrice and Eileen, so far found no death certificates for them or even any marriages, so did they stay with their grandparents in Devon or did George eventually come back and claim his daughters.

Thanking you in advance

Thanks Liz, checked with parish clerk of old Windsor churches and also the municipal cemetery in Windsor and they don't have any burial records for him. In  the 1911 census he is in egham so thought he might be buried there, will check with local parish council there.
