East Lothian (Haddingtonshire) / Re: Herriot families in East Lothian
« on: Friday 28 June 13 00:57 BST (UK)  »
Hello,

I am not very  good on the computer but I hope this will reach someone that can help me.  I am trying to trace a marriage for John Herriot to Jean Jackson, approx. date 1740 as I found the births and baptisms for thier six children. The first 2 children were twins born 1741 all the others born between 1741 to the last son, Adam, who was born in 1754.  Adam married Helen Hume in June 1781, all I know of Helen Hume is her father's name was John Hume, so any info on Helen and her familiy would also be helpful.
Adam Herriot and his siblings were born in Saltoun, East Lothian,  Adam died in Saltoun Lime Works in 1827 so any help with Adam or Helen's mother, father and siblings would be most helpful. Adam and Helen had two children, a son, George and a daughter, Helen both born in Stenton.

Thank you in advance for any information,

scotsannie

dear twitter,
the james and john i was referring to was the fallow side from your articles to which i was hoping that we could confer with about and exchange information about.
if we can conclude what information you have regarding your sinclairs then there may be a possible link up of information. is it possible for a phone no so we can talk outside the box or an email address.
regards,
scotannie.
