Thanks GirlGuide. This is not the Tattersall family that I am interested in. The photograpohers I am aware of I had my photo taken there in 1958. There was another Tattersall family who had a typewriter shop. I appreciate your response. Bob

The Lighter Side / Surname DUTROY

I seek information on a (probably) Mr A DUTROY  1932 was a director of an Accrington (Lancs)  company called Tattersall & Hindle, or possibly just Tattersall's, manufacturers of 'Boudoir' carpet sweepers.  My suspicion is that he was involved in some way with the house furnishing market Any information on the company will be welcomed.

Lancashire Lookup Requests / Annie Elizabeth ROSTRON
« on: Tuesday 18 August 20 21:42 BST (UK)  »
In trying to identify an artist responsible for paintings of Accrington houses by an artist signing him/herself A E Rostron, I have learned of an Annie Elizabeth ROSTRON,  born in Salford 1913, died in Bury  1983. Could Annie be the artist ? At present I have no other info on her. She numbered the paintings, so I suspect that she was an active artist, likely to be a member of an art society.

Lancashire / Re: Fish Family from Fleetwood, Lancashire

I suggest that you join the Fleetwood Past Facebook page.  A noted ironmonger' s shop in the town was Fish's in Lord St. Also see the Lancashire Family History's website. A block on the website allows you to look for members interested in surnames and townships.

Lancashire Lookup Offers / Offer: Photographs of Wiliam ROSS b 1854
« on: Thursday 21 August 14 11:01 BST (UK)  »
I have 3 photos of William Ross, b 1854. They were taken on his 83rd birthday 3.8.1937.  He may have been born in Liverpool and may have lived in Kirkdale in 1911. I suspect that he may have lived in Blackpool or the Fylde in his later years as I bought them in a quantity of Fylde material.  I will give them to any descendant
