I would have said the first photo was late 1800's and the second one quite a few years later, but I'm having trouble reconciling the two pictures as being the same house. Are you certain about this, Falleneagle?

Yes, I got them from the current property owner. His family owned the property for many years. A newer house stands there now.

Based on the average height of a woman in Scotland and the UK in the early 1900s being 5' 4.4", and using the woman who is standing to the right of the door, I'd say the building would be approximately 24.5 feet or 7.37 meters high at it's peak.

The first on looks to be early 1900s...there is nothing date-able in the second one, is it a postcard where was the house?

They are from Scotland. I don't think it is a postcard

I have 2 different pictures of the same home. One is Black and White the other Monochrome. What I would like to know is about when could they have been taken? Also any way of determining the dimensions of the house from the photos? Photos are attached. Many thanks for the help.
