Thank you all for the info.
I am wondering if it was a temporary move, I know her mother Margaret took over the Cross Keys at Hilton not long after. Then when Margaret died, her younger sister, also called Margaret took it over,

In the 1901 Census for Murton, East Ward, A My great Aunt Anne is registered as Innkeeper, but the name of the inn is not stated,
Any help appreciated,

On the interesting subject of the ATS, i wondered if anyone could enlighten me as to what I would expect to find if I should send for my mothers ATS record?
Would it for instance include the name of  her next of kin? or her address at the time.
Does anyone know the answers?
