Hi , anyone have any information on my gt gt grandparents Vincent Sullivan ( hotel keeper ) ans wife Margaret McCarthy .

Siblings for my gt grandfather John Sullivan b1823 County Cork

Johanna b 1815
Vincent b1822
Mary b 1824
Michael b1826

John was recruited in Cork for the 78th Highland Regiment in Scotland and spent time at Fort George Inveness . Married Elizabeth Ross in 1862 had a stepson William Ross and  4 daughters . Married a second time in his late 60's and died in Edinburgh in 1895 .

Any info much appreciated on Vincent and Margaret's marriage or anything on any of the Sullivan siblings of my gt grandfather .

Yes they are the correct census , mistranscribed date of birth for Donald as found his birth on Scotlandspeople with  correct dob and baptism of him and a brother baptised at same time/day .

I have been able to find two of the eldest children's births on Scotlandspeople ( sons) but come up with nothing for the daughters . The last one being Annie so will keep searching for that when have more credits ....and more money as wasted so many on trying different people and trying to find Donald's death .

Have looked at all the suggested dates before and different years and outside of Inverness and nothing , even with variants with his name .

No children between Isabella and John Sullivan and he died shortly after marriage . Isabella did go on to have another child with someone but no father is listed on her son's bc, William Malcolm Sullivan.Cameron.MacDonald as is recorded on his birth cert. He was born in 2 years after John died .
