I still haven't seen it for myself but the Honorary Secretary to the Friends of St Andrew's Church, assisted by the Churchwarden, kindly located the tablet and extracted the following details:
Ursula
Margaret
Anneliese
Wyper

I visited St Andrew’s Chilcomb Churchyard last weekend but could not find the small black marble stone commemorative of Regina’s mother Ursula where I’d seen it several years previously.

Everything comes to those who patiently wait!  Delighted to say that NWN’s reports in BMD columns recent releases include my great-grandparents William’s death in 1880 and his widow Mary Ann’s in 1883.  There is even an announcement of my mother’s birth at Kingsclere in 1905.   ;D

I can find no British birth record for Regina either, and wonder if there's a way to find out where she was born and when? [/quote]
I was at primary school with Regina. She married at age 16 and my understanding was that she was born in Germany in 1943. Her mother was believed to be a widow when she married Cyril WYPER and mother’s maiden name GERLICH was recorded when their son Peter J. WYPER was registered.
I vaguely remember a male sibling[? or other relative?] of Regina came to the UK much later, which could account for the 2 SKRABANIA children born in the late ‘60s with mother’s maiden name LORD.
Ursula WYPER died in December 2007 and her ashes were interred at St Andrew's Churchyard, Chilcomb, a delightful ancient church on the S.E. outskirts of Winchester.
Could this be her German Lutheran baptism:  Ursula Maria GERLACH in Deutschland? Sadly, I don't have a worldwide Ancestry subscription.

It's possible the marriage took place in All Saints Parish, Southampton, where the BULL family were resident in 1841, which could narrow the search significantly: otherwise it's an enormous task in such a vast area with loads of parish churches, not forgetting the possibility of a civil marriage for a man in the armed services facing an imminent posting.  As John appears to have been in Co. Cork in June 1841, for the period it appears to have been a relatively short courtship.
I rarely visit HRO these days but a regular might be inclined to take up the challenge in the microfiche of the All Saints Parish Register?

I'm assuming; the father of John Jenkins (Henry Jenkins) and the Henry Arthur Jenkins who marries Elizabeth Harding in 1842 are two different Henrys??
Absolutely!
