Hello dyrniboy

I have the Llangynhafal Parish Records so I checked for you.
On 5th of Oct 1811, John Davies of Llandyrnog married Anne Jones
of this parish. The witnesses were Robert Roberts and John Mathews.

Do you know the birth date for Anne and who her parents were as my line
of Joneses also came from this parish?

I hope this helps you.

Hello Mummykins

I found this entry on family search, maybe a spelling error.
John Budree married Elizabeth Bonn at St. Julian, Norwich, Norfolk on
the 25 April 1687.
It could be yours.

Hello Lorrae

I don't speak welsh but I looked in my little Welsh to English dictionary for a possible match to the last word.
I think the last word might be ELW which my dictionary says means (profit) and that could translate to (benefit).

I hope this helps.

Hello Jolyn

There is a death registered for Mary Thorsen in the AMJ quarter of 1907, 11a Page 194.
So if she married Thomas Thorsen, she wouldn't show on the 1911 census.  :'(

Hi Andrew

Do you know his wifes name and the names of any of his children? ???
Seeing as how he died before the 1841 census, it is pretty hard to go backwards with no other names to work with.

Source Information

Hello Rose

I don't know if this is your family or not but here is what I was able to find.

Evan Lewis, b; 21 mar 1773, parents Richard Lewis and Jane.
Marriage for Richard Lewis and Jane Davies, 22 May1769 in Trefeglwys.
Marriage for Evan Lewis and Mary Jones, 14 June 1799 in Trefeglwys
Children = Mary Lewis, b 29 Mar 1800, Richard Lewis, b 19 Oct 1807 and

I hope these are yours.

Do you know if John Thomas remarried after Sarah died as I did find a
John. T. Jones married to a Doras { I forget the exact spelling of her name
but it was close to this} they also had a son William.

Hi Bethan

Do you know the names of John's parents. That may help in the search, also the names of siblings wouldn't hurt.

Heres hoping. ;)
