Hello  :),

I am looking for information on the The Fox Public House in Cleobury Mortimer. I understand that my Gt grandmother (Key) lived here with her family in approx 1904 - 1910.
If anyone can help or point me in the write direction it would be very much appreciated.

Hello, :)

Can someone point me in the right direction please.

I know my Gt Grandmother lived at a public house, because it was just after 1901, not sure when, for how long or who else was living there. The pub has been closed for sometime.

Would the Magistrates Court keep records for the liquor license?
If so, who would have the records now?

Open to suggestions.

Hi Jorose,

That's brilliant.. Thank you for the info..

Christening and Petty Session records, will I find these at the County records office?
If only I had the census for 1902/4, some of my mysteries would be solved.
Thanks again.

Thanks Tati,
Still trying to find my way about on here, I think it's an excellent site.

I've come to a bit of a stand still. I have got the 1901 census for my relation, trouble is I need information after 1901, when her children were born. Cant find the fathers name anywhere. I've been reading about parish records and it said that unmarried mothers couldn't put fathers names on Cerf's but they did put them in the parish chest ? Wonder where this is kept?
Thanks for your help

Hope someone can help?

I have a family member who in 1900,1902 and 1904 gave birth to children but she never married. I have been reading about the Parish Chest where there may be clues to the father/fathers of these children.
How do I find information?
