Hi Martin
I was wondering if you had got any further with Daniel. The only information that I have discovered is that the Port of Liverpool did have whalers sailing from it. They were known as the Greenlanders. This information came from a professor at Liverpool University who, unfortunately, did not know the name of the vessel.
