Peter Maguire was born in , Westmeath in 1806.
He was baptised on 2nd July 1806 in Milltown parish near Mullingar.
His parents were Bridget & Luke Maguire.
His sponsors/godparents were Catherine Hearly & Bernard Kenny
That may be a different Peter Maguire. On his marriage with Elizabeth Medlington (née Matthews) the certificate gave his parents as James McGuire (Peter was also shown as McGuire) and Mary Linn.
His crime was committed in Collierstown on 25 May 1828 (found in British Newspaper Archive), attacking the home of William Dalton with a group of other angry lads.
