Family History Beginners Board / Re: PATRICK McCARDLE born Sunderland Q4, 1864

re JENB #9
Allowing for the surname difference this 1891 census seems to fit the bill.
We know that Isabella, Jane and George were the first 3 of 13 children born to Patrick and Mary Jane. These 3 plus Joseph, who sadly died shortly after his birth in 1890, were the only ones born prior to the 1891 census. The others all appear on the 1901 and/or the 1911 census'.
Looking at the 1881 info kindly provided and will report back tomorrow.
In the meantime my thanks to everyone who has taken the time to help.
Jim

Family History Beginners Board / PATRICK McCARDLE born Sunderland Q4, 1864

Help needed please.
I'm trying to trace information for this gentleman for an elderly neighbour who is Patricks grandson.
The 1911 and 1901 census' for Sunderland shown his dob as 1864 in Sunderland, married to MARY JANE (GRAY) born 1867 and their children. I have found a birth transcription showing a Patrick McARDLE being born at the right time and place. I have been unable to find any census information from 1871 to 1891 which would provide his sibling and parents. Any links to this info would be greatly appreciated.

Evening All
Need some help locating the residence of Emma C Hepplewhite on an 1881 census. I believe she was born in September 1871 in Sunderland. Her father died late in the same year 1871.
Located father Ralph in :
1851 Fairless Bank, South Shields
1861 Adelaide Street, South Shields
1871 ???
Located Emma Caroline in :
1871 not born until late in the year
1881 ???
1891 Bramwell Street, Sunderland living with her Brother in Law (Alfred W Burwick), Sister (Ada Mary) and their son (Ralph Hepplewhite Burwick)
Also looking for census information for her mother who I think may have been called Mary Thornton.
Any help would be appreciated especially any links with FindMyPast

Re Queenie message
Just looked at 1861 birth transcript 10A, 377 on FindMyPast but no mmn noted.
The 1861 census shows Lydia as married to a marriner but the only marriage I can find for GARROD / WELCH is in 1866

Just come across an 1861 census which shows LYDIA (1838), JANE (1860) and ROBERT WILLIAM (1861) lodging at a house at Sunderland Road but no father who is presumably at sea. LYDIA is listed as married but I cannot see a marriage until 1866,
