There is a single German family with the name HATRY (Levy until 1808).

Homborg = Homburg, Bavarian Palatinate

  Thank you Rudolf I am checking to see if Emma Seeligs mothers family were any connection to the family you have written about Thank you for your post

.The birth certificate will also be arriving for Emma Seelig no name Alina but I am going to ask the opinion of the experienced members here. I just wish I had done this years ago apparently her headstone is no longer in the graveyard which is sad but having the other information and matching it against what has been posted has been an amazing journey for me.

  I have had a huge boost in the truth about this families origins from a family member. I am soon to receive copies of photos that were given to her in a wooden box by her late father. I know you will understand that this will be amazing for my children and grandchildren to share. I will keep you updated and I again thank you for all your help on this post it has certainly given me an insight into the families past. Sooooooo excited

 Just a thought maybe Thomas Hallam's  family were very religious and to get engaged or accepted by his family she needed to be taken formally into the church and so was Christened.

Mary daughter of Francis married William Palfreyman in Peak Forest 1755 so I will probably go with the other Mary daughter of Henry born in Peak Forest as Mary born in Grindon would have been only 14 when she married and that seems a little young, although they did marry young in those days but Joshua was 37!

Like you say not so much information this far back. None of my research has gone past mid 1800 at the moment. You have done well and sometimes in cases like this you have to take an educated guess. One thing for sure is that they had all the children christened and that is usually a good source of information GOOD LUCK

 I am only a newbie but I think her parents name may be on the marriage certificate if you get a copy of that....Don't you think she is the younger one Christened at Grindon or is that too young Oi have just asked and only the fathers name and occupation will be on the marriage certificate

 Well I have just been informed that there were no marriage certificates until 1837 so that option is scuppered sorry ..I hope you find her family and birth date Michelle ....good luck

  If Michelle has information that Mary was born in Grindon she could be correct in her assumption that she was very young when she got married ...This shows a Christening and Mary would be only 13 or 14 when she married Joshua ,.....would this be possible..  ......................................Name     Mary Fletcher
 Gender     Female
 Christening Date     07 Aug 1737
 Christening Place     GRINDON, STAFFORD, ENGLAND
 Father's Name    Simon Fletcher
 Mother's Name    Mary
