Hi I was just wondering how I would find out where a baby is buried that died whilst living in Oakengates. Any help would be appreciated. Baby's name is James H Bates born in Egypt in 1948 travelled to Oakengates with his mother Deanna Valentine bates in 1948 at 2 months of age. Died same year in Oakengates. Address I have on ship record is 37 Walton ave Oakengates.

Other Countries / Where was my grand mother born.

Help I can't find a birth record of my Decesead grandmother only records of her first marriage to my grandfather, and for the births of my mum and uncle. He immigration records to Australia were different to her name on marriage records. Is there any site I can go to to find out.
Her name is Diana Valentine Forti (birth name) born 4 December 1930

Ok update. I must be doing something wrong because all I can find is birth records for all the bates related the my grand dad (deceased) Sidney Bates. I can't find any marriages or births of their own children.
I'm m really sorry but can someone point me in the right direction.

Oh my ty soooo much. I was devastated when I found out my grand dad had passed, it was awesome to now find out that I still have an avenue open to get a glimpse into my grand fathers lives. Ty so much you've made me a happy lady.

Hi I'm looking for any relatives of my late grand father Sidney Bates. Born 28 January 1928 in Oakengates. Mothers maiden name possibly Bailey? Sidney was in the Royal British army and was stationed in  TEL EL KEBIR Egypt, And married my Grand mother, Diana Valentine Forti in 1948 they had 2 children before immigrating to Perth West Aust in 1952.
