I was told my 2nd great uncle, William Hill (b. 1880, Milngavie, Scotland, married 1907, Ann Stanton) served in WW1 and died Oct. 12, 1918 in France.  I cannot find his name anywhere.  Any thoughts.

Greetings, much of my family McKean/McKen settled in the Denny/Dunipace area throughout the early to mid 1800s.  Are there any records of burials from this period?
Thanks

I too have relatives at St. Peter's Cemetery.  I hope some day to visit.  Their names are Patrick Sweeney DOD 26 May 1892 & his wife Catherine McCulloch DOD 20 May 1895.  The lot number I believe is 685-9-E.  Many thanks for a photo or any more info.

Just saw your post about Dalbeth Cemetery in Glasgow.  If you have any info on Patrick Sweeney (1892), Hugh Sweeney (1863), or Catherine McCulloch Sweeney (1895) it would be most appreciated.

Scotland / McKeans of Glencoe
« on: Saturday 13 May 17 22:01 BST (UK)  »
Just got back from a visit to Glencoe and saw where the McKeans were part of the massacre.  My McKean (McKen) line stops with Thomas (b. 1766) in Larbert, Stirling.  I was wondering if any McKeans survived and if this was a way of connecting the two?
