I went over to Llanllyfni area today--unfortunately the Salem cemetery was locked so will have to go back. I visited the War Memorial at Nebo and the date of death also says 15th Sept,
The family were at Pant Gwyn through the 1890's and still there on 1901 census--there were 13 children born in all of which 6 survived infancy, On the 1911 census there are 2 sons left living with their widowed mother Hannah--ie Robert and William -however their address is recorded as the PO, Nasareth- not sure though if they lived at the Post Office or whether they collected post there as Pant Gwyn was a bit remote.
I don't have any S Wales addresses for William. My grandfather ended up in Mountain Ash near Aberdare which is not really very close to Abertillary but I guess they went where the work could be found.
