Just seen your reply to this thread , Edith Lucas was my Grandfather's Sister, making Evelyn my Grandfather's niece. My Grandfather was called Bertram Harrison Jones he was the third eldest brother of Edith.

I'm shocked as I was lead to believe edith was the only child.  trying to get information from my mother and anties and uncles is finding very difficult as too they don't speak of edith that much.  do you know much more information about edith?   did your grandfather ever meation more? 

I know Evelyn is deceased, she married Lionel  Steele in Wiltshire. I am not certain where William & Edith Married. I do know  that lived sometime in Dorset. They married in 1928, on boxing day.

   

   hello I seen this post when searching for my great nan and noticed you are speaking of my nan and grandad Evelyn kathleen, Lionel Steele.     they are my mums parents.  can I ask how you are related to edith also... no William wasn't my nans father. what I don't get though my nan pasted away 2 weeks before edith..  as edith was sectioned for what she did. the reason i know this is because the hospital rang my grandad asking for my nan saying she had pasted away.  also my antie visited edith in hospital
evelyn had 9 children with my grandad.
