You can also enter a DoB on FreeBMD for deaths from 1969 Q2.

Enter the DoB date (eg 10/02/1887) in the "Death age/DoB" field and check the "Match only recorded ages/DoB" option. FrreBMD's help page has more info on using the DoB search field, and the supported date formats.

The results will include some non-exact DoB dates (eg About1887), where the person's exact DoB probably wasn't known but it can still narrow the results a lot.

On FindMyPast, go to the 1939 search page itself and you can enter the exact birth date.

England / Re: Can't find family on 1901 census
« on: Thursday 01 December 22 23:39 GMT (UK)  »
There is a "D PIETARD" (60, born Chatham) dealer, married, 5 children, lodging at 15 & 17 Radnor Street, Folkestone in 1911. I can't see this person in any other census.  A possibility?  :-\

Bit of a coincidence...

carom,

If you look at the top navigation bar it should now include a "My Basket" link. The link only appears when you have something in your basket.

London and Middlesex / Re: G M Jones
« on: Thursday 17 November 22 17:58 GMT (UK)  »
These could be her:
Marriage: Gwladys M Jones . Edgar W Fordred . Jul Sep 1927 . Woolwich . Volume 1d . Page 2850 (The only marriage in Woolwich)
Death: Gwladys M Fordred . 63 . Jan-Mar 1966 . Hailsham . Volume 5h . Page 411

Electoral registers and probate record for this Gwladys has her middle name as Mary. I don't think it's the one.
