John Jones, Eugrad House,  Llaneugrad was my great grandfather (born 1840) and my great grandmother was Mary Jones (1846). Their daughter Elizabeth Ellen Jones (born 1887) my grandmother, married my grandfather William Parry (born 1881) Pant y Gwyddel, Marianglas. They are buried in Llaneugrad church cemetery. I believe that this is the family you're looking for?

Cerrig Cynrig Farm still exists but the Farm house and farm buildings were split and sold separately a few years ago. We have owned the farm land since around 2000. I can show you "madam wen's cave" if you like. The post code is LL65 3EJ.

My grandfather and his brother (maybe 2 brothers) also worked on the Rose ships. I would really appreciate any photos and information that you have as I'm trying to piece it all together by myself as there's no family left to provide details. My grandfather was William Parry and his brothers Owen and Evan all born in Pant y Gwyddel, Marianglas (LlanfairME/Llaneugrad) in the late 1800's. My grandfather died in 1941 due to a road accident.

Horeb Baptist chapel still stands in the village of Elim (formerly called Tre Ffynnon) near Llanddeusant. Horeb postcode is LL65 4AH. The chapel has now closed down and was bought by someone from England but the graveyard is still there and is still looked after by the Baptists.  Horeb was not the original baptist chapel in the village, the original is now a little shed belonging to a house called Tyn Ffynnon Uchaf.

My grandfather's sister was John Mathews' mother. I've only recently started to check out my family tree but more than happy to share what I have.
