Thanks CaroleW, the tree on Family Search was compiled by my cousin who is a LDS church member based on my information which was edited for ease of understanding. The surname has caused a lot of research to prove.

Leicestershire / The surname Stockwell Green

This is really a put it out there and see post.
My great grandfather was Charles Green, who also went by the name of Charles Stockwell Green and Charles Green Stockwell.
It would appear that in the early 1800's Charles Stockwell married Ann Green and the children then started to appear with two surnames not hyphenated which were often reversed.
Is anyone else looking at the Stockwell Greens or Green Stockwells?
Cheers.

Thanks Chris Dorian, I have mailed the cemetery to see if they can identify a plot or if Jacqueline is identified in a book of remembrance. What their response time is I have no idea. If I get a response I will take you up on your kind offer. As for the Barnett headstone I will have go back to my records.
Cheers Howard.

The family certainly weren’t well off, but not poor. I have sent a mail to the cemetery but feel a visit may be in order to see the resting area.
Thanks for all your help.

Thank you everybody, great help.
One final question on Stretham Cemetry, is there a plot layout or a specific area where burials in 1931 were conducted?

Thanks for the response CaroleW.
The name is Jacqueline Barnett. Died 5 years old in January 1931.
If you can identify a cemetery or place of rest it would be appreciated.

Hi, new to this area of the country. I have a relative who died in 1931 at Grove Hospital.
From BMD the death was registered in Wandsworth.
If she was buried locally where would the cemetery be?
Thanks
Howard.

It looks like ‘malter’, but not easy to read.

As I said her father was deceased and maybe she didn’t remember him OR she was illegitimate and no father was named? Wanted to be able to give a name so made one up?

I gave up on the Holyland name a few years ago but feel enthused again!
