Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Prison Records

Hello,

I am trying to figure out what my greatx3 grandfather went to prison for, but I can't read a word of it! I am mostly wanting to know what this offence is/means? I cant remember how to upload an image so I have attached it - I hope that it can still be seen!

World War Two / A question about the CIA!
« on: Thursday 09 June 22 16:07 BST (UK)  »
So I’ve been making a big wall hanging of our family tree and have been adding as many professions and war records as possible.
I just found my great grandad listed on the 1939 register (I think it’s different to the census but shows the address and professions age etc.)
Under profession it has him listed as ‘inspector of vehicles’ which makes sense as I had him roughly as a mechanic, after this though it says CIA representative- tanks and fighting.
Can anyone shed any light at all on what this means?! I’m guessing it was something he was doing in the war. His son, my grandad has passed away and my dad has no idea about it! Is there anyway I can verify these things and find him in any list of cia people?! This is in the uk and I didn’t even think we had cia here. He lived in Yorkshire.

I also wonder if the 2 different sets of dates could mean that he received the head injury first and then at the later date was injured again and received the leg injury?!

Thank you for all your replies, this is super helpful, and so interesting!

That makes sense from what I know about him, I think because words are shortened it makes it harder to understand them!

I have managed to track down my great grandfathers hospital and medical records from his WW1 injuries on ancestry.com. There are many pages and entries to go through so I am starting at the beginning with his first admission. What has been passed down through family is that he was injured at the somme and he had a 'hole in his head' all his life - apparently he lay injured in no mans land for many hours before being rescued.

I can only read the words 'severe head wound' on these records for the first entry, the rest I simply cannot make out at all. - Other than the date he was injured is 21.03.18 which was the second battle of the somme.

The second entry was made when he was transferred to a different hospital and I can make out what I think says..
wounds healed. much pain in left leg from thigh to knee and wasting of muscles and ... loss of power (perhaps)

Can anyone understand anything from these records??! Im fascinated by them!!
