Shefford Hitchin was RE telegraph school during ww1 and many scottish service men in the TF descended upon Bedford, so perhaps he was TF there in war and moved out later ?

If they were in Lancing he may have returned back to carriage trimming for the carriage works there !

I think i will start with a marriage cert for Alec as I have a wedding photo taken by an eastleigh photographer  :-\

Harrow is indeed not too far from Park Royal and they are continuing with fathers names  ::)

Yes Millmoor thats them
then James went to Eastleigh 1901 to build carriages for the LSWR
taking ALEXANDER and Jeanie bofre adding Jemima,Blanche Isabella was b Scotland also

1911 Alexander is 16 and a Carrige trimmer but can't trace him after that
