John Shaw and Ann Wood had two daughters in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia before returning to Halifax, Yorkshire, England. Ann Noble Shaw born 1856 in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia and Harriet Lister Shaw born 1858 Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. Four more children were born after their return in Halifax and Rastrick. Susannah Shaw 1860, William Shaw 1862, Sarah E Shaw 1867, and John Lister Shaw 1870. Obviously the name Lister is significant. Then I find Harriet Lister Shaw age 3 visiting James & Elizabeth Pearson of Bingley, Yorkshire in the 1861 Census. James Pearson married Elizabeth Lister in Bingley in 1835. Ann Wood was born in Bingley to William Wood and Ann, so Ann must be related to Elizabeth Lister but I can't figure out the exact connection. Does anyone have this family in their tree?
