The optimist in me says that we have not yet even reached the Golden age :-)  If/when the sales/marketing teams stop driving the development of the tool sets offered to DNA users (i.e. less on making new ethnicity estimates, DNA traits, etc, and more on tools to help proper research), then i think we could enter the golden age, as we can start making more break thru's on matches/relationships.
For example i have roughly 20k matches on ancestry, but i have only successfully identified around 120 of them, which is a poor hit rate.  If i had access to a proper chromosome browser  and clustering tools, i could probably increase that by a factor of 10

Adding to what the others have already said :-)  MyHeritage does also show other options it has calculated for the relationship, you can either see them by clicking on the relationship label in the matchlist or looking in the specific section on the matches page.  However i personally prefer to enter the cM size into DNAPainter to get its view on the relationships, as it gives more options and i find the MyHeritage 'terms' a bit odd (i.e giving relationships to you parents rather than you in some cases)

Thanks for posting that, to be honest it doesn't actually look like many new features (other than the enhanced shared matches view), the rest are just really minor tweaks to how you get to or see existing features.
The new shared matches view, looks to be a great additional benefit, the MyHeritage version, has been very useful in helping to identify the connections).

Hi Shropshire Lass,
have a look at the https://dnapainter.com/tools/sharedcmv4 website.  You enter the shared cM value, and it gives the expected relationships for the match size.   Now using your 446 number for Laura and Glyn, it gives the following :

84% Possibility for one of the following : Great-Great-Aunt / Uncle, Half Great-Aunt / Uncle, Half 1C,  1C1R, Half Great-Niece / Nephew, Great-Great-Niece / Nephew

So based on those numbers, then in theory Alfred could be Kim's father.

Thanks Everyone for the suggestions/info...

I have just received the death certificate for Thomas Harden, and its not been any help :-(  The death was not recorded by Benney, not 100% sure who did record it as the first name is a bit unclear, but there last name was Harden. So it hasn't confirmed the Harden, baptism or ruled it out :-)

When looking for Benn* Bena* around the Battle area I did come across a baptism for Benne Eldridge/Aldridge who looks a possible sibling for mother..

Also a marriage for Thomas Harden to Lucy Wemham..they baptised a daughter Benny, if I remember so it could be a family name.

Hopefully Pheno can confirm if they have index

Cas

Thanks Cas,  i have ordered Thomas Death Certificate now, so hopefully that might give a connection

No marriage on the Sussex Marriage Index for either a Ben* Harden/Harding or an Eversfield however there is this:

Thomas Harden m. Mary Eldridge (bach & sp) at Battle 27 Mar 1780, both oftp.

These appear to be the baptisms at Battle for this couple:
Elizabeth 1781
William 1783
Benny 1786
Thomas 1789
Ann 1791
Sarah 1794
Edward 1796
James 1798

there is also a baptism for a Sarah Harding to Thomas & Mary Harding at Battle in 1801.

Pheno
Thanks Pheno,
I had found that marriage this morning on ancestry as well :-)  and have just started on the baptisms.
