Mystery solved, spoke with a local gentleman of advancing years outside the Red Lion pub and he told me to turn around and that was "Rose Cottage" 25yds away. It had been renamed "Ty Rhoslyn" a number of years ago, he also remembered a Bessy or Betsy Wilding living there but sadly had no recent knowledge of the family. Thanks again all.

Thank you hanes teulu,  do you mean "Beehive" is still named the same after all these years. That's remarkable fair play.

Carmarthenshire / Wilding - Llangadog

Hi,

Is there any way I could locate a cottage in Llangadock / Llangadog. The cottage is called Rose Cottage and keeps cropping up in various Wilding members records so I assume it was in the family for a period of time. Just curious if its still standing. Also is there a way of locating cemeteries, I have discovered both George and Mary Wilding (siblings) were buried in Llangadog in 1930 and 1950 respectively. I have the burial record but it doesn't indicate a specific cemetery. I only live 30mins away so would be nice to visit and pay my respects. - richard

Hi, I was wondering what newspaper archives people were using to research this period, I'm interested in the air raid (V1)  of 9/7/1944 that hit 120 Claude Road, Leyton.

I was trying to get evidence the marriage of George and Nellie was in fact the right George, without buying the wedding cert, I guess I'll have to, just to satisfy myself , thanks again
