One from me too ... It' a pity that the photo wasn't able to be scanned out  of the frame and thus  avoiding all the reflections. I have  adjusted the perspective  too as the image was photographed at a slight angle .

Thanks Wiggy ... I do pop in  every so often  but life is just so busy ...I  feel there's no time to lose as once you pass the 3 x score and ten mark .... there  just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to do all the things I have  got to do !!  ;)

Hi Chrissyan... I'm not really sure  if it is a  corsage ... I left it in as I thought on close inspection it may be a silk hankerchief in his top pocket  as he looks rather  dapper ....and no one else is wearing  what could be construed as  flowers at a wedding ... Of course I could be completely wrong  ... ;)

I know how important a photo of soldier from the Great War is especially to  descendants ... so I have had a go too .. You have had some very nice  restores  so here is another to add to your collection . Did he survive the War ?
