David,

In my research I have Amelia Weller Leech, her father being Thomas Walter Weller agricultural labourer and her mother as Sarah Leach (Leech), Gloveress.

I have Amy marrying Frank Bussell in 1902 in Christchurch.

I have sent you a pm for your email address, as I would very much like a photo Pleasant View (Carpenters Cottage).

Did the three brothers all live near each other in Southampton? Did BEB live there or stay with his brother Frank?

Regards,

Lainy

Hey David,

Thomas Barton was my Gx4, my direct line being through his son Stephen.

I was really pleased to read your research on Thomas but more so Mary, as I had not found out any further information about her. You have helped my with a brick wall, thanks!

Regards,

Lainy

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Jim & Maud Bell / Dorset

Hello,

Jim & Maud were my paternal grandparents. One of their favourite places was Bognor, where we believe this photo was taken.

My dad loves these photos which are gradually fading away. It would be wonderful to see them coloured/ restored. You can just about make out the colour of my nan’s outfit, pale blue.

Many thanks,

Lainy

Hi Max,

Thanks for clarifying about the certificates for me. Indeed he did make a mark and not just in a short time but at his young age.

Thanks for letting me know about his previous stint.

Hi Max,

Thank you for taking the time to research Alfred for me. A family member told me that he was wounded in the neck and died in the Casualty Clearing unit, everything else you kindly shared is new information to me.

To find that he was awarded a certificate for gallantry at such a young age is amazing.  Can I obtain a copy of the certificate?

Kindest regards,

Lainy
