HI
I am looking for a Marriage of a James McKenna & Margaret Thornton they were living in Newcastle upon Tyne from approx  1849 to 1853 they had a daughter Catherine born 1848 Ireland & a son John Mckenna born Newcastle upon Tyne 1853 it is from Johns baptism which I got Margarets maiden name.
I am posting this on both the Armagh & Monaghan sites. On the 1871 Census James gives his place of birth as Monaghan Margaret Armagh.

HI Michael
Sorry for taking so long to reply been tied up on something else.
You are a star that has to be him.
My only problem is on searching the ROOTSIRELAND site for Marriages which I had searched in anticipation of getting the information I did not find a Margaret with a maiden Name THORTON,
But I will give it another shot.
Thanks Again
