Hi Garstonite,
Thank you for that info re Achilles in Germany.  I will tuck it away.  There are several "Achilles" descendants all over the world stuck with August Achilles B 1785 Braunschweig. He didn't leave too many  clues to follow. (except for his Military ventures, and finally settling in Dublin, Ireland.
Many thanks once again.  Ferndale

HI Alana Grace,
I am Searching for  August Achilles born 1785 Brunswick (Germany).
Unfortunately I have no information prior to 1785. ie parents, siblings etc.  Would love anything.  There is Another Achilles family in (Australia) whom I have been in contact and they are claiming him too, but there is about 100 yrs between their 1st migrated Australian Achilles and my August Achilles.
August was in the German Army, French, and  British Army, and retired to Dublin, Ireland in abt. 1833.  He Married Mary Ann Fenner/Fannin/Fanning(not  really sure of spelling) in 1835 Dublin.
He was also married to an Anna Cole in Nova Scotia and had 1 son to her, named Henry.

I have a few other bits and bobs if you need anything else.
Cheers ferndale.

HI Rob,

Yes I do have a copy of his will. Many Thanks.  Very Hard to read though. I think there may be also at least 3 more children too.  maybe an Ann, Samuel and possibly a James.  But if they are like the rest of the family nick names and second names often used.  Just had a thought if I do have the right will?
PCC, 1826 right year (didnt find "corn chandler" in that muddle tho lol.
Cheers for now Dale

Previous  occupation of Samuel Stapleton could be a retailer of grain and allied products.

(I have four  children for Samuel Stapleton and Lucy Napper M 1809 Children B from 1816-23, but there could be more children from 1909 to 1816, possibly a George, Samuel and an Ann.
