Hi,
     Thanks for looking for me,i realsied after i posted it that i posted it on the gloucestershire one,all i know about is joseph in 1881 he is with a clara in cambridge and they had several children but i could never find a marriage for them and in 1891 they lived in Gloucester and 1901 lived in cheltenham where joseph ,clara and the children died.Thanks for the info from the 1871 census maybe some relation.

Hi I was wondering if someone would kindly look in the 1871 census for me for the following family :-

Henry Stanley b 1838 Owlerton Yorkshire

May A Stanley b 1838 Sheffield

Joseph Stanley b 1858 Sheffield

Ellen Stanley b 1860  Sheffield

Im sorry i dont haveany more info as what i have is from the 1861 census which is the only census i have for them.

Hi I would be really gratefull if someone could find Henry Stanley b abt 1838 owlerton,Yorkshire his wife Mary A Stanley b 1838 Sheffield his son Joseph Stanley b 1858 Sheffield and daughter Ellen Stanley b 1860 Sheffield.I managed to get this info from the 1861 census where they lived at 42 George Street sorry this is all the info i have.Thanks Claire.

                       Thanks for the info no i havent looked for a marriage for sarah wright to a drinkwater i will though,i think sarah was already married to a george wright and had mary with someone else a john drinkwater with whom she lived with as a house keeper as her husband wasnt living with them i think thats where mary possibly got both surnames from.It gets really confussing but maybe the only way to know is by sending for thomas and mary ann's marriage cert hopefully will tell me who her father was.

    i have some of the kids birth certs and says her maiden name was drinkwater it is very complicated as in 1881 there is a mary ann wright with her mother sarah but in 1891 her last name is drinkwater.Thankyou for replying with that marriage i think thats the only way i will find out.

Hi I was wondering if anyone knows any information on Thomas Green born 1878, in the 1901 census he is with his wife Mary Ann born 1879 (maiden name not sure)and his 3 children Elsie born about 1898,Florence born 1899 and George born 1901.They lived at 4 piffs cottages in Cheltenham.I was wondering if anyone else has these names in there tree or if they knew Thomas Green's occupation as in the 1901 census it states his occupation as worker or if anyone know's who Thomas Green's parents were.
I think his parents were Benjamin and Sarah but not 100% sure just need it confirming really.
