I think the Samuel Bonner that you are referring to appears in my family tree
The 1881 and 1891 censuses show my Samuel Bonner living with his family in Rotherhithe, he is the correct age and his birthplace is shown as Horseleydown. He is on my family tree through his wife Harriet, who was born Harriet Stirling. Thanks for your information and I hope this helps you.
