Esdras & Marie Priscilla were married in 1931. Record indicates both are single and it's the 1st marriage for both.

See both images 1463 & 1464.

Thanks RJ137 however I don't think this is my Priscilla as I have been given a death by Lisa in California for her in 1952

I believe the Priscilla whom I found a few days ago (and who was possibly married to Mr. Packman) was
1940 Los Angeles Census
"Esdres Marcott" age 50, born Vermont and Pricilla M., age 42, born Vermont

California Death Index
Pricilla Mary Marcotte

This lady is in a tree on Anc*try.  They show her as being married first to Keith Packman and then to Esdras L Marcotte.  Perhaps they are mistaken with the Packman marriage?

I've been ill since Thursday (vertigo) and cannot add up all the facts at this time.   :-\ Perhaps there were three Priscilla's with similar backgrounds?

Update:  Two Priscillas, not three.  The Marcotte Pricilla and your Priscilla.

Lisa, hope you feel better soon.

There seems to be quite a bit of confusion, from the information I have received there was A Priscilla
Courtemache who married a Keith Packman and a Priscilla Desautels who married an Esdras Marcotte, as I have been given a death for Priscilla Marcotte I am favouring Priscilla Courtemache.
There is tree on Ancestry for her showing 4 marriages including a Thomas Wilson but his information is incorrect, no source shown.
Unless there is some way of checking an index of marriages for California I may have to wait until more information comes online.

Many thanks appreciate all your help.

Betty

Thank you for finding out the maiden surname of Priscilla and also for the obit for Thomas, there was no mention of a wife or family in this obit, although he did have a daughter by his first wife.  The
FS Tree: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LH8L-YYX you gave me for Priscilla also raises a question as it shows she had a daughter Ruth born 1921 although this daughter is not living with her mother  on the 1930 census.

Mark thank you for comments you have an extensive knowledge of the subject.   I assumed, and I know I shouldn't, that he was not of the Catholic faith as he was asked to confirm he would bring up the children in that faith upon his marriage.   Most of his children and their descendants were of the Roman Catholic Faith possibly with the exception of my own gt grandfather Thomas Spurr.   I have been trying to trace David's ancestry for many years now without success, if he was a Catholic there is still hope something will come online eventually at least before my time runs out.

This woman's husband, Keith E. Packman, died in 1938

Keith Packman was divorced when he died, according to the image, so Priscilla may have married Thomas Wilson before 1938.

And according to the Packman's 1930 information, Keith and Priscilla had only been married 2 years at the time.

Thank you for confirming my findings on checking these records.  Whose knows how many times she had been married and divorced.  Thomas Wilson died in 1958 and I have no record of whether he was married or divorced then.

In 1930, there is only one Priscilla of the right age and birth state living in California:

JOROSE, Thank you for these references they are very interesting and give me another name to consider when looking for the marriage.  I see that on the death record Keith Packman was described as divorced so the marriage didn't last very long according to ages of marriage on the census.

Again many thanks.

Lisa in California,

Thank you for your replies.  Are there any online indexes for BMD for California or an address where I could write for information for this time period?
