Hi Folks
I have cancelled my membership and received a confirmation from ANS stating the fact!
I might have been a bit premature, as it does not expire until the 20th July.
Do I need to wait until after the above date before I apply the £89-99 membership (I hope)
Your advice please!

Mine’s expired on the 5th July and I renewed on the morning of the 6th July!

Just make sure you have cancelled auto renewal. 

Everything should stay the same, your trees will not be affected.

Another reminder.

Turn off Auto Renewal, but do complete the process as it is easy to miss all the screens one has to go through.

Only when you get an eMail confirming the change in the setting will have succeeded in turning off Auto Renewal.

Even then, do go back into your account and check that it is shown as “Expiring”.

Let it expire.

Then 24 hours later sign up using one of the links.

Do create a Gedcom prior to expiry and or update the software tree if you use Roots, Magic, FTM etc.

Ours Expires 14 July.
Mines expires tomorrow!!!! I don’t have any backup….do I need one or do I just let it expire then wait 24 hours before using the code and will all my trees be available?

I have cancelled my auto renewal. Due to be renewed on 5th July so hopefully I will be able to use the link on the 6th July!!

Yes, your trees are still available to you.  If you cancel your auto renewal , your subscription still runs until the 5 th July.
