tryi ng to find anything on a charles lea born approx 1852 in birmingham. parents john lea and mary a or maria.in 1861 census there is john lea 47 wife  mary a 48  sons charles 9 and thomas 7.
in 1871 census it states marea lea widow59 shop keeper, sons charles lea  syringe maker  19 and charles lea brother in law  43.any help at all please ,   anything on any of the family will help me get back , i am just stuck it seems they were all born in birmingham

have
 now got the following on him.                                                                                  died 2nd  feb  1901.  casualty place kroonsted.                         rank private. force    south african field force.                                            regement royal fussilers.   battalion  2nd  batalian..                             number 8934    volunter company.                                                  apparantly his father e freeman was a well known person in camberwell . london.

walter died during the boer war of entaric fever he was aged 24  years old, was serving in the boer war in february 1891 a service was held for him at a sports hall in peckham . any help please i know no more about him.
