My people both sides family were captains.Both based in Jersey and one Married a Cornish girl.The Channel isles Had a lot of Cornish Trade.Hope this gives you a new lead.

Hi Annie paid for access to 1881 census ancestry .co and have problems getting my head around how to find things.Lost my Credits in a few minutes and got no where.any clues to help please, as it does not show whole census ,just bits not relevant to me.

Hi to all
New to this and paid for credits ancestry.co to access 1881 census.
Do not know how this works as my credits vanished in a matter of minutes.I expected the whole 1881 census to come up.Got one page of something ,no good to me.They ask you things you don,t know so I search and got no where ,any help on this please people
