One Name Studies: H to M / Re: LOVELL branches

I have Somerset Lovell's in my tree. They are from around Ashwick, near Shepton Mallet.

The earliest one I have got is James Lovell,(I think he was roughly born around 1770) he married Dinah Burr.

They had three children as far as I know:

Job Lovell (circa. 1800)

Mary Lovell (b.1803)

Susanna Lovell (b.1794

Job married An Fear 9th June 1820, they had seven children -Mary, Ann, Dinah, Jane, Job, James, and another James. (the previous James died in infancy)

James is my Great Great Great Grandfather.

At the moment I'm trying to trace the Lovell family back a bit futher to see if the Dorset branch fits in with the Somerset on, but I have seem to hit a brick wall.

Somerset Completed Lookup Requests / Urch family Publow/ Pensford

Hi everyone,

I am researching the Urch family from around the Publow/ Pensford area. The only relatives I have got so far is a Winifred Elsie Urch, who was born 23rd January 1907. Her mother was called Lydia, and I think she appears on the 1901 census.
From my limited information I know that Winifred's father was a miner in the local coal mines and that he died when the lift cable, that was pulling him back to the surface, snapped, releasing the lift where it plummeted to the bottom of the shaft and crushed everyone inside of it.  I would be very grateful if anyone could give me any more information on the Urch family around the Pensford/Publow area.
